A diesel is the only way to go if you're looking to load up, get in, and not give it a thought. The higher maintenance cost is negligible, the mileage is double that of a V10, and honestly, the HO Cummins is just enjoyable to let run down the highway... it's like havin' a dog that wants to hunt.
I have a 2004.5 SB 4x4 with an auto & 3.73's. I have no intention of ever selling that truck, It's one of the best eng/trans/WB made.
