I just opened my old text book Automotive
Mechanics by Krause and looked under fuel
pump trouble shooting (posted info on last
forum) these books are available used on the
internet need 1st to 3rd Editions as they
cover all the old stuff.
most technicans today have never worked on
mechanical fuel pumps or carburetors or drum
brakes and they are so busy keeping up with training on new technologies that they do not
have time to learn about these old things.
ps: my first 2 years in college is was planning on being a auto shop teacher - sure glad i did not take that route.
