Is this what they call that joint where it appears someone tied raw hide or a piece of heavy cloth around it?
I have an M37 as does my brother ... his is in much better condition ... mine has very little rag left.
How difficult is it to replace and what purpose does it serve? (Does it just hold lubrication?)
