What you want to do is go to a plastics supplier and get a block of polypropoline cut to fit as a base. Drill and tap it for the fuel pump, bolt the pump on, then bolt the block to the body, making sure of course none of the pump bolts or the pump itself are grounded. Then wire the pump body to your hot wire and the pumps hot wire to ground.
