I had only a brief time to look at it, but I knew I would buy it at that price. Seller wanted to start it for me, but I passed, no time.
I looked at the frame, which is straight and doubled, the Rockwell axles and t-case looked clean as if it has continuously been in use, not much seepage or axle/knuckle goop. The Warn hubs were installed when truck was new according to the SERT info had 4 or 5 other SERT#s and descriptions. No PTOs or winch.
Has the Government/Dodge Nomenclature data plate on the firewall. Other decals on the dash, but didn't have time to study. To my suprise, the floors looked very good, which is the first thing I check for. Needs 1 or both front fenders, grill and bumper, but has a good hood and PW.
emblems. Big back glass, cracked front glass, good running boards, and spare wheels with NDTs.
Padded dash, decent seat and a huge front bumper,
brush truck style, lime green VFD color, original color was darker.
I am sure it is a ready to go truck, with a little work. At this time I am reluctant to sell any spares from my other truck because it is in running order, and as you know these trucks are not easy to come by.
