This is an encouraging set of posts! I've read many times here that the "newer" Power Wagons are second class citizens, not worthy of the name! I agree that if it's a Dodge and a truck and a 4x4, it's PW enough!
I've got about $10,000 into my 79 W150 Power Wagon Adventurer Round-Up, and there is no way I'd get a 2000 Ram to replace it! There is something nice about it's lack of civility and it's simplicity that I like! I also REALLY like the full time 4x4! While my buds have to get out and switch their hubs, I just keep right on going! Haven't found anything yet to stop her!
As far as the magazine portion of the question goes, good luck! Dodges in general from the 70's or earlier are almost never featured unless they are LRT's or custom built street machines.
You're kinda on your own for the restoration, but ask many questions. I know I'll answer them if I can!
