I've just added another old Dodge to keep my '41 WC-24
company, a '63 D200 (3/4 ton 4x4, 318, LU-2, stepside
bed). The truck's all there, but needs a few bits and
pieces (RF fender) and lots of cleaning and TLC.

I bought it from a guy who bought it from the original
owner's wife a month or so ago. The truck had been
sitting for a couple of years after the owner died.
The guy who bought it isn't a truck guy, and has a new
Chevy convertible project that he's anxious to start.

First, I'm curious about which spark plugs usually
work the best in these, since it looks like the
previous owner changed a plug at a time rather than a whole set.

Second, they were similarly stingy with oil changes,
though they did do them. It looks like it has an old
canister-style filter on it. Any comments before I go
looking at the Fram catalog at the Kragen parts store?

Third, is the twin fan/alternator belts. Any easy-to-find size or numbers?

I've got the original operator's manual, but itdoesn't give this kind of info.

Final question, for now anyways, deals with the
clutch. The clutch works fine, but the pedal sticks
to the floor for a couple of seconds, then begins to
engage about after traveling 3/4 way through it's
travel. The fluid was supposedly recently bled. Am I
correct in guessing that the clutch slave/master is on
it's way out? I ask because there is mention in the
old maintenance log about "reattaching clutch spring".

These old Dodges are addictive.....thanks in advance!
