Throw that stock steering coupler away and buy a Borgson ( not sure of spelling) unit. It comes on the steering shaft so you will have to take that out to. I did this on my 90 w250 and never had another problem. I did this at 15000 miles and kept the truck untill 75000 miles. The joint is made of hardened steel and has a grease fitting on it. the factory joint is not hardened. it cost me about $140. but you only do it once.
