Sorry, I have no clue what the actual measurement of that height is, other than what the manuals say the overall height of the 1/2 ton WC weapons carrier or pickup is.

If you are going to order a reproduction canvas top, keep in mind that if you use the "square" top bows from a 3/4 ton weapons carrier, the curve will be different than the "round" top bows from a 1/2 tonner. In short, this will lift the canvas higher off the side of the bed. How much, I'm not going to guess.

I would suggest you contact a canvas maker, such as Wee-Bee Webbing, New Life Resources or Beachwood Canvas and ask them for the pattern info. Also find out how much overlap they have on the bed sides, because your "square" top bows will raise that. You could use cheap pine to simulate your wood, and use string to see what happens to the canvas. All you need to know is the total width, edge to edge, of the canvas top.

If you find the "square" hoop raises the lower edge of the canvas too high off the bedsides, then shorten the height of the side poles.
