You can fish it out with an arc welding rod by getting the rod to stick to the axle. Put some rubber tubing over the rod so only 1 or 2 inches stick out. This is to avoid touching the rod on the axle housing. This question has come before with all sorts of ways. I'm sure you'll get many responses to this question.
