Sounds about right. A 1/2 ton military box is 48" wide internally and 6 foot long, and will have provision for hood frame ( 6 pockets) and seat.
The civilian-type bed on my TD 20 is 7 foot by 48" and has no provision for hood frame or seats. Not sure if they did a pure-civilian 6 foot bed with no pockets/ seats.
Grab it anyway....
