I was a disbeliever of its existance as well, until I road in it at Rendezvous 98. It is a very capable truck, nice riding on and off the road.
As far as a locker up front, I had one in my 57 W100 with no PS. I was running 8 x 19.5s Mud type, 440/727, was not too hard to steer until
you bound it up and the wheel would let go, move
hands quickly or lose fingers. Let me tell you, that sucker would cut the mud, and reverse donuts
in the mud were out-of-control.
Miss that one, my first PW ten years ago, built her out in the yard.
