Leonard, so you are talking about basically building a car transport trailer. In that case the trailer house axles will work in tandem. However one problem will the the width of the axles and then cutting and welding them. Weight rating should be OK. One guy mentioned the cheapie brakes, which is true. And the tires, if in good condition will take the weight and are throw away, as many are on a 14.5" rim. Tom
