I have a '48 B1PW that has been sitting idle for a year and a half. During this time I have re-wired the entire truck, upgraded from 6 volt to 12, installed new battery, starter, and alternator. I am at the stage where I am now ready to turn the engine over. I have turned the engine over by hand to ensure that nothing is stuck. Engine turns fine. When I turn the key, engine cranks, but does not start. It is getting both spark and gas. My question is does it just take awhile for it to get going again? Is their something else that I can do to get it to start? Any suggestions or advice on bringing my truck back to life would be greatly appreciated!
