Jared, are you having it shipped or coming to alberta to pick it up. If the latter I can go over the truck with you and give you my opinions on restoring it. I actually really enjoy the restoring part of this hobby rather than just the owning aspect. The truck certainly needs front sheetmetal (fenders,nose,cab) but I would fix the rear fenders and 2nd series box that is on it. As Marty indicated I took a close look at it last week (2 hours before you bought it). I'm just finishing a 3 year resto of a 46 wdx and the box and rear fenders you are starting with are better than what I was (made my own box). The frame you have is real solid, you need frame extensions and a front winch bumper as the one currently on it has been welded to the frame. You also need a tailgate and running boards although the running boards that are on it have some interesting splicing to work with the swivel. You also have rear shocks on that truck.
