The biggest thing I have found upshfting and downshifting is dont rush the truck. You try to hurry it the least little bit and you wont shift without grinding. NIce smooth easy slow shifts. Dont run the truck up to high in the gear before you shift. In my truck if you got to rev it in N to run the speed up to match you are going to fast for the downshift gear anyways. Take it easy and learn to do it at an easy pace.
