You need to slow the truck significantly, shift to neutral, tap the gas to give some rpm's, then push the clutch and move into the lower gear. After you master this, you will find more often than not you can time it and feel it without using the clutch, in most instances. Come on down to S. Jersey and I'll be glad to teach you how.
