Nick, I just completed doing my brake lines and you do not need to put teflon on any of them. A word of caution when installing your inverted flare nuts into the different brake fitting,please inspect the old brass fittings as some may not have clean threads and seats. I snugged all the nuts into the fittings, then bled the system. While bleding the system with the brake pedal down and with pressure on the system, that is where I found the bad seats on the fittings.With the pedal up and no pressure I didn't have even any weeps or drips.I also readjusted my brake shoes after the initial drive around the block. With a well adjusted tight brake system, it is amazing how well it works.Good luck. Dan H
