Hi Chuck,
I just went through this with my 57 W-100. The cable was broken, I had a replacement cable that was 80 some inches long and it was too short. I compared the W-100 cable to a FFPW cable and it was the same. They measured about 100 inches. (Maybe it was 98" but definately not in the 80s.)
