rear shoes are self energizing which means the the front shoe (of the rear brakes) has "servo " action which mean as the the front shoe grabs the drum it applies "more" pressure to the secondary or rear shoe which also has more lining . ALL THE MORE REASON WHY THE FRONT WHEEL CYLINDERS SHOULD BE LARGER . may be i am all wrong ,but this has been the standard practice . at least for the fourty years i have been on the bench . but the fp power wagon is a different beast and i would be wondering why that it is the reverse of the industry standard since hydraulic brakes have come in to effect ? ~ copey
