No they need to go after the gun shops that are selling incorrectly. 80% of the gun shops in this country have never had a gun that was used in a crime traced back to them. That says something. While just a few shops have 50% of guns used in a crime trace back to them.
I believe that if you use a gun in a crime you get an automatic 5 or 10 years added to your time. No questions and no judge can over turn it. Period.
It is not the responsible people causing problems it is the criminals. Go after them. THe saying is correct. Out law guns and only the outlaws will have them. Look at Washington DC. The have banned guns but yet they have a huge problem. Look at your city. Tough gun laws but the punks all have them. Enough said.
