I know that some trucks used a Flangeless axle, that used a hub like the OE fronts of a FFPW. My guess is that this company built an oversize front housing that held the rear shaft plus a B/W or Sczeppa joint. See the huge front hub covers in the pic? Probably had a front track width the same outside as the rears, the extra width as well as diameter allowing for more gismos in the knuckle.
