I am out of the loop in the real world ,i thought there would have been many changes in paint since way back when.I used to use Rinshed Mason paint ,mixed it at the shop myself ,despite the fact the number one paint supplier to the auto industry(original equipment supplier) was PPG/Ditzler . Dupount was a close second in the aftermarket to R M in these parts , PPG when they came on the scene had outstanding tech support to help you make the transition. I believe that the teCh support and the field reps helped PPG secure a strong foothold in the industry in aftermarket paints and thanks for the tip on the "new " marine enamal ~j
