hey bud a couple of things on your tranny the blueish on the gears would lead me to believe that the hard facing is gone from the gears and nothing will really help if this is the case the other thing to check is the pto is it out of gear(all the way out)and is the pto shimmed right as this clearance is pretty crucial and will cause some significant racket aswell as shavings but like some of the other guy's said it's a crash box and they are a little noisier anyway schaeffer specialized lubricants has a superior product we run it in everything we have and have actually saved a couple of componets by switching to thier product's you can find them on the web it's a moly type oil and grease well check them out it's the one thing if all others fail to try before jerking a box out eric
