1) Integral velocity type that is part of the ET1, ET2, ET4, E7F1, and E7S1 carbs.

2) Sandwich type used under the E7T1, E7T2, etc. carbs.

3) Belt-driven mechanical King-Seeley and/or Pierce engine mounted governor.

The first two controlled top end speed. The third controlled engine speed while under load during stationary use. None controlled over speed on steep down grades. None directly dumped air and/or stopped fuel flow.
