The information you posted does NOT say the winch is different on different models. The only difference mentioned is in how the pro is controlled, depending on the transmission....4 speed or 5 speed. My truck is a 1969. It has a pto on the driver's side of the transmission and is controlled by a knob on the dash, as described in your quote. To be sure, the pto was, in both cases, 4 speed or 5 speed, mounted on the driver's side of the transmission, simply because the only pto opening on the Rockwell transfer case is on the rear of the transfer case, facing the rear differential. Go back and look at the pictures I posted on Mopar Norm's forum, and you will remember that the bumpers and winches were all the same in every one of the 7 pictures.
