If you look at Joe's classified adds right now the w500 truck is for sale, its a w500 and about the 3 or 4 truck i have seen with the cutout step bumper, my theory is that the bumper they claim is w500 is a early power giant and early early maybee w500. what makes me think this is I have never seen that bent bumper on a non winch truck, most like they were putting whatever they had on the trucks, including what they try to claim but dont back up, that is eric and marty wont admit that the factory cut out step bumper is used for non winch and winch bumper set ups, we are talking about a 15 year run of winches and winch bumpers, who to say actually what bumper and what winch wasd offered during the years from what SEG plant, that winch is a Garwood it says in the add, but notice how correct it fits in the front sheet metal, be kewl to see the data plate off the bent bumper frame truck, this w500 step bumper, and the others i still say the step bumper is more correct especially for the 68 and newer w500's, i think martys bumper is a early not correct power giant type bent bumper, your truck should have the step bumper in my humble view not the early early 60's version they reproed, go look at all the D and W 200 300 500 500 400 700 pictures of winch and non winch truks at Moponorms site regisrty and see what i mean, there is not one truck listed with that bent short bumper they and you claim is correct for a w series truck, shear numbers says somethings odd to me?? who knows but kewl to argue over.lol
