I just turned 29 a couple months ago, and i'm feeling the same thing; alot of knowledge that would normally be passed onto the next generation hasnt. Its likely related to personal interests of 'the next generation'; kids now adays are more interested in putting stickers and LED lights on their cars, then knowing how to tune a carb, or adjust torsion bar suspension, etc.
Personally, i'm buying up all the old books and manuals i can find to try and save any of this arcane knowledge for future use.
I think we all have the same opinion - If we dont save these vehicles, no one else will.
