I ask because I might want to convert my 61 D300 to 4 wheel drive but i want to retain my SRW 19.5 rims. If I go with the factory W300 front axle the offset is too wide on the early W300 Axle. the later W300 8 lug axle had a narrower measurement hub to hub than what I have seen on the ealry W300. Maybe I could run 6 lug W200 drums and hubs on a W300 front axle and hub to hub would be correct?
