I bought an early '98 last fall to use for plowing snow. It's a 12 valve, with auto, and only 133,000 miles. There are probably a lot more out there. I had the auto built up for plowing. I also put a new fuel plate and a couple of mild and simple modifications, and gained about 100 hp. The 12 valve has a better injection pump than the 24 valve, as well as no computers. I use it a lot more than I thought I would. I have an '06 6 speed that I was driving all the time. I decided to drive the '98 more and save the miles on the '06.
