I took many, many pictures from all possible angles both before and during dissassembly. I don't regret a one. In fact, they have become something of a family album. I love to go through the pictures, just looking at how it used to be, and noting all the change that has occured through the years. It's sick. Take pictures.

In addition to the notebook and baggies that the others have mentioned, I devised a serial number system E001 (engine part #1, etc). The notebook records what that part is, and contains added drawings, if necessary.

My parts are then placed in large tupperware containers. I use a separate container for each type of part, engine, cab, suspension, etc.

Since my restoration is taking far longer than I thought I would ever live, I am grateful I left nothing to memory.
