put some penatrating oil on the studs >take a small OLD socket that fits over the studs but just enough to hit those tapered keepers pound them a couple a times, the taper on the keepers busts the rust > then like micheal jackson, 4 pound sledge to the centre of the shaft and "beat it "~J twice will do
