Or another way: The PTO is about a 5:1 redution from engine speed in a 230 FFPW. SOooo, 1200 rpm = 225 rpm shaft turns, winch gearing of 40:1, equals about 5-6 rpm, or around 8 fpm.
Improbably half right, but there's only a 10% chance of that.
