Once upon a time I saw a how-to webpage to convert a Mopar oil-bath filter to a dry paper-media type, but now I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone else seen this, or something similar?
And, does anyone have any thoughts on the wisdom of doing this? My vehicle actually isn't a Power Wagon but rather a Dodge Route Van. The title says 1951 but I think it might actually be a '49. Most of the parts are common to pickups and Power Wagons though.
I haven't disassembled the air filter yet, but it's the kind that you're supposed to clean with kerosene, etc, which is a major hassle. I'd also like to improve the airflow.
