I've ran lock-rights front and rear for almost two years now, and for the most part they aren't that bad. I drive my 48' daily back and forth to work and around town on errands. However I'm also running selectable locking hubs up front and of course only lock them in while off road. what little I've ran them on the pavement locked in (T-case in 2WD) the only thing I noticed was a barely audible clicking noise from the front axle and a slightly heavy feeling at the wheel on tight turns. With the T-case in 4WD and hubs locked a tight turn with manual steering, is all but impossible unless you air the tires up around 50PSI,LOLO. Off-road however the traction is UN-FREAKIN' REAL!!! kind of just a point and shoot, type thing. I typically leave one hub or the other (usually the drivers side) unlocked when I'm aired down and trail running in the summer, until we get to a tough spot, then I get out and engage it. Probably not a recommended procedure, but it got me by until I installed the V8 and power steer setup. Since I got it back up and running I don't really notice any difference in the steering between hubs locked and unlocked (T-case in 2WD). I went with the Lock-rights because the ARB's weren't out for the PW when I bought mine. If I had the choice I'd probably still go with the Lock-rights, simply because of the simplicity. NOT, knocking the ARB in any way,(It is a proven design with rave reviews and many, many years of field service, plus the cool factor is way high!) and a standing ovation for those willing to step up to the plate and get the ball rolling for us to have different choices of parts for out beloved trucks.

IMHO, offroad driven trucks are way more fun when locked front and rear. And pavement should only be an option when absolutely necessary.
