For those of you who want to know.

this is from my friend Gary

We went to Yerington, NV last weekend and desert raced. We place 2nd in class 8 (out of 9 trucks). 53 trucks and buggies showed up, only 16 finished.

We had fuel and carburetion problems throughout the race. It appears that the fuel filter had the bar code sticker on the inside. Even after changing it during our driver change the truck still never ran good. But we persevered!!!

The track was brutal!!. It rained all afternoon and evening the day before. We were not sure if we could actually run it without 4 wheel drive. Race day the rain held off and after the second lap the track started to tack up a little, but with all the rigs trying to get traction and digging it just got worse each lap.

We traded places with Mike and Tammy after the 3rd lap. We went about7 miles and got a flat in a nasty hole. We were stuck and on a corner. I flagged vehicles around us and helped Gary change the tire and get us unstuck and we were on our way again.

We all had a really good time. I wish we could have had everybody there, but timing and fuel prices caused some of our crew to stay home. We surely missed them. But the crew that did get there did an awesome job.
