I think I am having a fuel delivery problem on my 1965 W300 with 318 poly and cannot figure out what is going on. Last weekend I went to take it for a ride and it would not start. So after a little troubleshooting I came to the conclusion the fuel pump was bad because when I cracked the fuel line at the carb no fuel was present. Today I installed a new fuel pump. After several seconds cranking the engine over it started. But, it only ran for a few minutes and died. Tried to start it again and it would not start up. Cracked the fuel line at the carb and no fuel. I cranked the engine until the battery was almost dead and check the fuel line again and no fuel. So, I dumped a little gas in the carb and it started right up and ran for a few minutes again then died. Did that about three or four times than gave up. There is a full tank of gas. What do you guy think? Thanks in advance for your help.
