My little bit of googling brings up the mention of graphite oil for spring lube.

And, it occurred to me that some springs are forged with an indent in the end, for a pad to hold some lubricant.

These datoids ought to put to rest the discussion last year about whether leaf springs ought to be lubed.

I used 90 wt gear oil. Because old trucks are like women- they both smell better when hot.

Maybe some kind of moly lube? (on the springs, not the women).
