Do any of the head bolts on a 230 go into the water jacket? I know a bunch of the manifold studs do. Before I put it back together I thought I'd better make sure so I don't end up with a leak and have to do it all again. On the manifold studs I used oatey teflon pipe dope (the goop, not the tape). Not sure what that would do to the torque specs. The TM doesn't say anything about using sealer. Also, is it reasonable to re-use a head gasket if it came out easy and looks good? I'd spray a thin coat of copper gasket sealer on both sides of it. Thanks!
