0-8 run around $125.00 and 0 - 12 inch are around $250.00. Math is math to me whether looking at a dial or the numbers on the readout. I have never scrapped anything from getting a false reading with digitals but have with a dial caliper when it skipped a tooth. Digitals look cheap then ;) Most all out stuff is .0002 tolerance anyway so it's either micrometers or gage block buildups. Digimatic indiactors has made Cadialac gages obsolete in our shop as well.
