Thanks Jasan. Those are emergency flares. They hold kerosene. You light an internal wick and set them along the road when changing a flat tire, ect. They are stacked three on top of each other in a special holder. They are older than the truck. My Grandfather gave them to me over 25 years ago. He first had them mounted on his 1932 Ford truck. When he would trade trucks, he would take the flares off and mount on the new truck. They had about 6 layers of paint on them and only one has ever been lit.
