Maybe it's just our trailer. Dad has a triple axle with a pintle. I've used it to haul Power Wagons From Florida and one fron Minn. back to Ohio. It's being pulled with a 1 ton Dodge 4x4. Trip back from Florida got hairy in the mountains as it wanted to fishtail and wobble on me through the mountains on I 75.
A year later I was following Dad on a local haul with him and have the image burned in my mind of him fishtailing till it got out of control and rolled the truck and trailer on the highway. Dad was banged up but not seriously hurt but that was enough for me. Thank God no one else was around and got involved either. I bought a gooseneck after that and nothing like that since.
I'm glad it works for you and again, maybe it's just our set up. I'd never forgive myself if someone would get hurt because of my actions so that is why I voiced my experience on the subject, Kevin
