Boy are you lucky..... Here is RI there is a metal recycling company that shreds cars and scrap. The law states that once its in the yard no part can leave with a private person. It brings tears to my eyes seeing the old fire trucks and other old cars sitting in piles waiting to get shredded. With the price of scrap metal up. people are dragging the stuff out of the woodwork hoping to make a buck. A coworker of mine saved an old tractor by buying from the guy as he was turning into the scrap yards driveway.....
