you take a load of scrap in to the junk yard and the owner says, "Did you see that old 50's Dodge in the back?" I said no where is it? He said it's around back and I was about to call you to see if you wanted anything from it. So I drive around the pile to see a 1960 D500 that is pretty well eaten by Indiana salty roads. So I look it over and get out my tools to strip what I can. The owner, I know him well, says to take whatever I want. I strip everything I can like a madman before they close and make off with a lot of good bits and pieces. The best is the aluminum grill in good shape with the emblem. I drive up the office to show what I pulled and ask how much. Steve says how about $10? SOLD. Sometimes your reputation preceeds you and it pays off.
