Just got a call from the Scoutmaster of my Boy Scout Troop, they are on their way home from a camping trip at West Point. He is driving the Troop's 93 Dodge 3500 15 passenger van (85,000 miles, 360 engine) and trailer. He says its running fine, but when he comes to a stop light the oil pressure gauge drops down to the low side of the gauge and the oil light comes on. If he revs it up the gauge goes back to 2/3 and the light goes off.
The oil level shows slightly above full. He said he was a quart down at the start and added a quart then.
Any thoughts?
