This happened to me the this Tuesday. It was really kind of strange. It goes to prove that degreed or certified people are not necessarily intelligent or have common sense (just in case COTM is reading this post).

I am currently working back at Microsoft on a short term contract. I have worked there since 1995. In the past the people they hired tended to be the cream of the crop and they still try to do that.

The other day I drove my 51 ffPW to work and parked it in the garage at MSFT. I needed to take a NP420 transmission to have a PTO mounted during lunch. I backed into my parking spot and got out to make sure that I did not hit the Gray Prius parked behind me. I was fine and was well within my parking slot.

I came out at lunch to head for Seattle. I notice that there is a white Camero parked behind me (whoops underneath the bed of the ffPW). He was 3+ feet into my parking spot. However, the problem was that the trailer hitch that I have mounted to the rear frame was impaled into the front of his Camero. Obviously he damaged his car. The odd thing was he left it impaled.

OK I go back inside and call Security as I did not want this person to come after me fro backing into this car. Security came and looked at it and said nice truck and could not believe what the guy had done. The security lady had a hard time getting the person on the other end of the phone to believe her and to get the owner of the car to come to his car. Her boss come by and looked and said nice Power Wagon and told the person on the phone to get the owners A**** down to his car.

The owner finally showed up. He looks at it and says "My Bad I did it" I looked at the security lady and she said he admits to hitting you. The guy then proceeds to say the car is a junker (which it is not) and says everything is fine. He turns and starts to walk away and the security lady yells to him "Would you please remove your car from under his truck and park it within your parking stall". He came back kind of miffed and did it.

By the way I did not get the transmission to the shop that day.
