The 16x5.5 is the RIM size. That means NOTHING as to appropriate tire size.
Copey, you are an experienced mechanic, but you are ignorant of Dodge Power Wagons. And tire in general. To say that tires cannot be wider than the rim is assinine. Go out to you vehicle and read both the tire and the rim stamping. Any vehicle will do. THEY ALL have tires of a larger width than the rim. Dodge FFPW either came with 7.50 tires on 5.5 rims, or 9.00 tires of 6.5 rims.
Even COTM knows that Michelin company specs allow the 11.00 on 6.5 rims.
