disc brakes used with stock master cylinder

I have purchased a set of disc brakes from Ray and was wondering if anyone had tried to retain the stock master cylinder. I was planning in the next couple of years to install hanging pedals but for now i'd like to try the stock setup with front discs. My truck has the power brake booster installed and with the drum brakes it works great. Does the stock master and booster combo have enough volume to operate the disc brake pistons safely?. Will the residual pressure valve inside the master cause the discs to drag while driving? Any one tried this setup? Terry
