I went to Gerharts Eqipment constuction equipemnt show on Sat. Really great if you love old iron. Gerharts is a dealer near Lancaster, PA who sells antique heavy equipment and parts- Mainly Northwest cable shovels and cranes. In their lot are rows of old and tired machines resting in peace. They had two beautifully restored machines in operation - a Northwst 80D face shovel and 25D backhoe. After Power Wagons I wish I could own a Northwest "Pullshovel but at 25 tons its more than I can handle with my U-haul.
Anyone else love old heavy equipment. HCEA has their annual show in Brownsville, PA August 7th. This is the best.
