the easiest way to get it back to 7 is like this: Get engine on TDC. pull dist., unbolt oil pump and slide out far enough to see the gear. rotate the gear so the roll pin that holds the gear to the pump is straight up and down. slide back in engine, finger tight the bolts and go check to see if the gear slot is now angled at 7 O'clock. if looks good button everything back up tight and your good.
